Third Space Islington, a large gym with a dedicated family area has opened its door on 27th January.
Located in the vast underground space of a new and exciting Islington Quarter Development, this health club attracted more than 2000 new members even before opening.

The Family Heath Club format means that in addition to the main facilities, there is a large area dedicated to parents who come to train with their children. There is a kid’s swimming pool, children’s exercise area convenient family changing rooms and a crèche.
In the main gym, the customers find all the top-end equipment in The Rig, Weight training area, Atom Watt bikes, and large cardio section, all assembled withing a spacious 7000sqft of open area with high ceiling, dotted with AHU units to provide filtered and conditioned air to each zone according to the intensity requirements.
There are Mind and Body studio and Hot Yoga class, with natural wood flooring, equipped with radiant panels to create the desired temperature up to 42°C.
The real “gem of the gym” is its cycling studio. Space was designed to recreate that “peloton feeling” or replicate “going downhill at full speed” when the air is blowing into your face and cools you down. Spacious room for 24 bike stations, lights and screens - all connected, and massive fans that displacing the air at a rate of 25m3 per second. It took some engineering and valuable space but the experience is well worth it.
There is a main swimming pool with sauna and steam and spacious changing rooms. .
