MIPIM is one of the largest property conferences in the world, was celebrating its 30th edition. There was a huge interest among the professionals of the UK commercial property world. All our delegates from CD International have returned inspired and loaded with industry news and insides and new contacts.
It was great to see the success of the developments and the projects that CDI has been involved. Especially new residential schemes across the UK, expansion of the Third Space health clubs into Wood Wharf and Islington Square developments, and also to find out Mega Silk Way in Astana has won a 2019-2020 Asia-Pacific Property Award for “Best Retail Architecture for Kazakhstan”.
Our colleague Elizaveta Bell has completed the cycle ride from London to Cannes. Organised by Club Peloton in connection with property conference MIPIM, the ride, covering 1500 km over 6 days started from Greenwich via Portsmouth with a ferry crossing to Caen, and followed the routes of Normandie and Bourgogne, crossed Rhône-Alpes and Provence-Alpes and finished in Cannes.
Riding in a peloton requires trust, collaboration and support, and the same applies to a fundraising. All riders have managed to fundraise an incredible £430,000 for children’s charities CORAM, Cyclists Fighting Cancer, Tom’s Trust and MSA Trust!
